Anita Briem has been an actor from Iceland for nearly 20 years. Her most well-known role is that of Jane Seymour , the young woman destined to become the third wife of King Henry VIII in the series of the television show The Tudors and for her character in the role of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Her acting career started at National Theater Iceland when she was just 9 years old. When she was in her home country Iceland she appeared on TV, radio and other programs as a young actor. Briem relocated to London when he was 16 and took part in the production of a play that was staged at the New End Theater called Lenin in Love. Briem graduated from his school, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at 19 and was awarded the John Barton Prize and a Drama degree.
